I am a writer and editor.

From professional internships to positions at student-run publications, I have worked across the board. I still do. I’m currently a freelance writer for a publication in New York City, as well as a writer and editor for many on-campus publications.

During summer of 2019, I worked as an Editorial Intern for American Spa in New York City. I kept busy writing articles and working on projects for the trade publication’s national events, all while learning the ins and outs of the industry. Below you will find some of my favorite articles. I wrote a lot, so make sure to check out my author page for more work!

During summer 2018, not only was it my first time living in New York City, but I also had the opportunity to work as an Editorial Intern at NYMetro Parents. As the writer on the Brooklyn beat, I spent my time pitching, researching, and writing anything and everything that parents may be interested in that was happening in Brooklyn. During my time at the magazine, I also wrote a feature story which appeared in the print magazine before being published online. I continue to freelance for NYMetro Parents today on the New Places, New Programs features. Out of the 20+ clips to date, I have picked my favorites from the publication for you below.

During summer 2018, I also had the opportunity to work as a Communications and Content Intern at IVY. I was primarily responsible for pitching IVY Magazine articles, interviewing IVY members for them, and publishing them when they were complete. I also worked on various marketing materials, including copy for events and emails to members.

I started freelancing with The NewsHouse in March 2018 with coverage of The March for Our Lives. I was chosen to work as the main reporter for the Syracuse march. From there, I went on to write another piece about an event on campus. Now, I am the Life and Style Lead Producer for The NewsHouse which means I pitch ideas for the vertical, find writers, edit the stories, and publish them on the site.

I have served as the Lifestyle Editor for Equal Time Magazine, a student-run campus publication, since August 2017. Over my time with the publication, I have written many stories and edited even more. Working with a unique team of writers each semester, I have been a leader in their work and seen the formation of each story from start to finish. Check out the issues I have worked on below.

From June 2017 to December 2017, I worked as a writer and editor for College Magazine, an award winning, online, student-run publication. Over my time, I remotely managed multiple writers and collaborated with other editors. My articles were published biweekly and my writers published weekly.
